Architecture history of Dutch Dutch architecture style has influenced the world for ages. It started during the 17th century, when the Dutch empire was at the height of its power. During this time, the Dutch were influencing their colonized area such as indonesia to comply with them in terms of the architectural style. However, they finds out that they could not fully replicates their architectural habits to the unique tropical climate. Their low ceilings characteristics did not match the moist air. Later on, they resolve this problem by modifying the airflow system. They created higher ceilings, large widows and openings, they even added verandahs. Dutch Traditional Clothing Traditional outfit is something that could be used to identifies its origin country. The Netherlands had an unique outfit from head to toe. Starting from the head, traditional dutch woman use something called Dutch cap or bonnet. It usually made or white cotton or lace. Characterized by triangular flaps or wings that turn up on either side. While the man often wear hats, usually a wide-brimmed variety, or flat cap. Droping down to the upper bodies, woman use at least two layers, either a dark undergarment with a decorated vest, or a white undershirt with a dark vest. The first layer is often a loose-fitting shirt with either elbow-length sleeves or full-length sleeves. The outer layer is either a close-fitting vest, often embroidered or printed with coloured patterns, or a tunic that would reach down to cover the skirt. Netherlands Geographical Situation The netherlands has an unique geographical condition. Its a small country with only 41.543km² total area. With the population over 17 million makes it ranked 30th for the most populated country on earth. The Netherlands is a very flat with almost 25% were at or below sea level. Over many centuries severe floods devestated the netherlands, killing tens of thousands. In order to save their homeland, they made countless windmills to pump water out of low lying area. They constructed man-made hills (polders), raising the level of farms and villages. In 1953 extremely high water caused nearly 2.000 deaaths, mostly in southern area. This incident made them wanting a major change, and so began something called Delta Project. Dutch Automotive Industries   The Netherlands has a long history in the world automotive industries. Theres some multi million veichle manufacturing company that based in the Netherlands. DAF Trucks is one of them, it’s founded in 1928 by Hubert Van Doorne. In its early years, DAF focused on producing heavy duty trucks and lorries. Until in the mid 50s they started creating passenger car called DAF 600. Besides of automobile industries, the Netherlands also have an aircraft manufacturer called Spyker/Spijker. In the early 20th centuries Spijker made 3 models of small aircraft the v.1, v.2, and v.3. They made less than a hundred small planes. Its because of they didnt made an powerfull engine, so that no one got intrested. Even though they did not manage to produce any commercial aircraft, their name is still written on the aviation history. Dutch Art History The Netherlands has a long history in arts, especialy in paintings. Overall there are 5 generations of Dutch painters. Between 1615-1702 there’s an era called the golden age painting. This era started during and after the later part of the Eighty Years War (1568-1648) for Dutch independence. In this era, the Dutch painters were influenced by Italia painting. There are countless masterpieces that are produced across every category of painting. There’s also plenty of famous artists that contributed building the history. Adam Christiaensz Pynacker is one of them, he is known for creating landscape images. Starting as a wine merchant until one day he travelled to Italy and gone for three years. It gave him the inspiration for most of his artwork. Today, his artwork is displayed across the world. We could find it in amsterdam (his hometown), sydney at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, or even in the united states.  These are some example of adam's paintings t
